Lake Forest Small Business Grant Program Closes July 19

Supervisor Lisa Bartlett’s 5th District Small Business Grant Relief Program is coming to an end on July 19.

Lake Forest small businesses are given grants on a first come first funded basis within the cities allocation. Lake Forest currently has 153 for profit grants available and 38 non profit grants available.

There are three rounds and Lake Forest is on round three. Qualifying businesses may apply on the online portal until July 19 at 5 p.m.

124 Lake Forest small businesses have already been awarded grants up to $10,000. You can view the full list of round one business awardees here. Round two is currently being processed.

According to Lisa Bartlett’s update round 1 awarded approximately $8.6 million dollars in grants to 872 businesses and nonprofit organizations. Round two received an additional 226 eligible applications, totaling approximately $2.3 million.

“Since the close of Round 2 on July 5, we’ve received 241 more applications, which are currently being reviewed on a first come, first funded basis. To reiterate, the program will permanently close Sunday, July 19 at 5:00 PM.” According to Bartlett’s Bulletin.
