At today's County of Orange press conference for covid-19 Sheriff Don Barnes says he has filed an order with the court to allow inmate release up to 60-days early. The order filed early last week was originally turned down because Orange County jails are not at full capacity. An amended order allows Orange County jails to early release inmates with 60-days or less on their sentences.
